4.5 million hits in a single day

How did it get to November so quickly? We’ve been very busy, that’s how… the weeks have flown past. Student Investor 2007 is a share trading game for schools – Communis have developed and run the game on behalf of ifs School of Finance (previously ifsProShare, previously ProShare) since 2005. This year’s incarnation launched at the beginning of the month, and we have seen tremendous activity on the site. In the first week alone, monday to friday saw:
- 74,419 trades (buying or selling) processed
- £503,122,131 (yes, that’s over 500 million virtual pounds!) changing hands in the trades
- 20,585,683 hits on the website (the busiest day was Friday with 4,497,810 hits)
