Text Size

Perhaps the most-used access feature of a well designed, accessible site, is the ability to change the text size. Various vision impairments require larger or smaller text-sizes for ease of reading, and most people over the age of 40 have difficulty reading small fonts.

Changing the text size of your browser in Microsoft Internet Explorer

  1. Select the View menu on the top menu bar
  2. From the View menu drop down list, select the Text Size sub-menu
  3. Select a text size

Changing the text size of your browser in Opera

  1. Select the Zoom drop-down menu on the top menu bar (usually positioned top-right)
  2. Select a zoom size

Changing the text size of your browser in Mozilla/Netsscape

  1. Select the View menu on the top menu bar
  2. From the View menu drop down list, select the Text Zoom sub-menu
  3. Select a text size
